How does the technology helps student in learning?

Nowadays, information technology has made more users – friendly internet media which use graphics, animation, text, audio and video into a web page. Educational technology is the combination of processes and tools involved in addressing the needs and problems of education, with emphasis on the application of the latest tools which is computer and related technology. Educational technology is a field of practice and ethical practices to facilitate and enhance the effectiveness of teaching and learning through production, use and management of resources and appropriate technology process.
There are many benefit of technology that effect on student and such as they can save time and energy to copy the note that the teacher gives. They can use a laptop or tabloid to copy the note given or they can snap a picture of the note. The other one is they can access the information that they did not in the internet such as in the “Google” or in other website. The third one is when the student absent, they can catch up the subject by using online learning system from their home. It’s also can help in protecting the environment. The government can save the tree to make new paper to publish new book and copybook. Moreover, the teacher can teach efficiency to the student. They can use wide-screen television or projector to teach the students better. So that students do not get boring in the class.
Technology based teaching is usually more interesting because we can incorporate elements of color, sound and movement. Some students are very weak to remember facts, but enough to remember things by movement or by using a mind map. As example of children who attended primary school, sometimes performing in the book that served not so attractive and quickly make them bored. On the contrary, with the technology, teachers can be more creative in teaching a variety of ways such as incorporating elements of sounds and colors that appeal to more easily understood by students. In addition, the teacher can also use the video in the delivery of information to students. For example, students do not understand tables in mathematics, with technologies the trainers can design a cartoon video and insert elements or others to make students more interest in memorizing and remembering the multiplication tables. Teachers and students can also playback repeatedly to revise and others.
Besides, the students hear instruction no matter where they sit because the audio system’s flat panel speaker projects the teacher’s voice evenly across the classroom, every desk becomes a good place for students to hear and learn. Teachers are able to quickly get a student’s attention from across the room and do not have to repeat themselves when giving instructions. Students learn more from each other. With more emphasis on reciprocal teaching which is student to student, hearing each other is critical. With the student handheld microphone, even the quietest child can be heard. Teachers tell them love the microphones and wait patiently to use them.
Technology can be the great equalizer in a classroom with diverse learners. Whereas teachers can find it difficult to differentiate instruction for 30+ students in one class, all with different needs and abilities, “assistive technology” (devices and software to assist students with disabilities) can often help teachers personalize lessons and skills enhancement to each child. A child with learning disabilities often have better technology skills than their teachers and are drawn to computers and other gadgets, so using them in the classroom makes perfect sense. For children with physical disabilities, technology can give access to learning opportunities previously closed to them. E-readers help students turn book pages without applying dexterity, and voice adaptive software can help students answer questions without needing to write. Computers are engaging and more advanced than the typical modified lesson allows. The widely-used teacher education textbook Educating Exceptional Children has a special section in each chapter focused on assistive technology explaining how it is used with exceptionalities ranging from giftedness to autism.
In addition to helping educational institutions reach out to new students and communities, attract the best faculty, enrich coursework, and create an immersive learning environment, collaboration tools are helping to facilitate better management of campus infrastructure, streamline operations, drive energy and building efficiencies, contain costs, and increase the safety and security of the institutions. Combined with good architecture, relevant applications and efficient services, they help to provide a dynamic collaborative learning platform to both physical and virtual groups. Education is fundamentally a collaborative and interactive endeavor and the intervention of technology can make learning more efficient. In order to provide enhanced learning experiences educational institutions can blend audio, video, web collaboration, and instant messaging (IM) tools to create comprehensive distance learning solutions. When integrated into a single platform, they unlock a world of new opportunities for learning among students and staff bringing about innovation and media literacy.
Our students Hear,Learn and Achieve when we learn about the benefits of classroom audio systems,we realized every classroom in our community needed the technology.Children hear instruction no matter where they sit.Because the audio system's flat panel speaker projects the teacher's voice evenly across the classroom, every desk becomes a good place for students to hear and learn.Teachers are able to quickly get a student's attention from across the room and don't have to repeat themselves when giving instructions. So,No more "teacher voice".When teachers raise their voices to be heard,it often results in vocal-strain related absences or just plain old exhaustion at the end of the day. When they wear the small infrared microphone around their neck, teachers can speak normally and still be heard throughout the room.Actually we understand from this line that students pay better attention and stay on task.Students listen and engage more readily when they can hear.Teachers report fewer off task behaviors resulting in easier classroom management, increased instructional time and better academic outcomes for students.
Moreover, students learn more from each other with more emphasis on reciprocal teaching, hearing each other is critical. With the student handheld microphone, even the quietest child can be heard.Teachers tell us children love the microphones and wait patiently to use them. Then, maximizing tools like videos and music.Using multimedia not only helps keep children engaged, but it's an important part of today's reading curriculum. Our teachers are able to hook up their laptops or personal electronic devices to the speaker, and their voices are still being heard clearly over the music or video. We started the Hear to Learn project because we knew that it was vital for children to hear their teachers and each other.
